ÜBER
Coffees for our Decaf de Caña from the San Agustín, Huila region in Colombia are mainly grown by family-run businesses on less than 3 hectares of land. The green coffee beans are selected from special microlot varieties before decaffeination. The coffee is gently decaffeinated using the so-called sugar cane method. To decaffeinate the coffee, the beans are exposed to steam, which opens the pores and the ethyl acetate contained in the sugar cane dissolves the caffeine. The result is a full-bodied, sweet coffee that you can only tell is different.
